Tinder Foundation
The Tinder Foundation is a not-for-profit social enterprise located in Sheffield dedicated to making good things happen through digital technology.
Originally known as Online Centres Foundation, this staff-owned mutual was established in December 2011, to manage the UK online centres contract after a history of managing the network on behalf of Ufi Ltd.〔http://www.ukonlinecentres.com/media-centre/latest-news/item/1289-online-centres-foundation-awarded-uk-online-centres-contract.html〕
In July 2013, Online Centres Foundation became known as Tinder Foundation〔http://www.tinderfoundation.org/our-thinking/news/ocf-now-tinder-foundation〕 to reflect the widening remit of the organisation, including community action and digital strategy as well as digital inclusion and learning.
Helen Milner, Chief Executive of Tinder Foundation, was inducted into the 2012 BIMA Digital Hall of Fame.〔http://www.digitalhalloffame.com/halloffamers〕
